Other Women's Hockey
NEWHL has received a lot of inquires about summer play. We do not currently offer any programs for the summer, but here are some of the options that we information about. These are not recommendations but information.
Summer Clinics
Elite Hockey Adult Women's Clinic - Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH.
Friday July 11 through Sunday, July 13, 2007. Weekend clinic only $295. Weekend clinic including two nights lodging only $375. Register online at www.elitehockeycamps.com/womens.html.
Summer Leagues
CONCORD WOMEN'S HOCKEY will be running their league again this summer. They are starting out with 6 teams right from the start the first Sunday in June. The times will most likely be 5:40, 6:50 and 8:00. They have 6 whole teams to fill so are in need of some new recruits! Go to www.cwshl.com for more information.
NORTHSHORE WOMEN'S PICKUP
Ice time 5 - 6:45pm beginning on June 3, 2007 and continues every Sunday throughout the summer. The location is the GRAF RINK IN NEWBURYPORT, directions and contact information from the website maybe found here: www.grafrink.com
Other Leagues HOCKEY CONNECTION OF NEW ENGLAND, a Saturday night league which plays in Fitchburg at the Wallace Civic Center. There are two divisions of play, NEW! Beginner/D level and a mixed skill level of C-B-A players. There are summer clinics organized, so please check them out and encourage beginners to come and play. The Have a Heart Tournament will be scheduled in February around Valentines day so check the site often for updates and registration information. Approaching it's 5th year, The Vipers Invitational Tournament has grown in popularity. Last year's event featured 18 teams representing New England, the Mid-Atlantic States and Canada.
