New England Womens Hockey League C & D level programs

C/D LEVEL PROGRAM

Any player who plays hockey at D or C level is eligible for this program. Any player who plays hockey at D level is also eligible for the D / Recreation program on Tuesday & Thursdays. This program is designed for the faster-paced more competitive player. All aspects of hockey, including an emphasis on improving your conditioning, skating skills, stick handling, and game strategy will be taught by our knowledgeable instructors.

Options: Lots of them!
The Skills Development Program for C and D level players consists of one 1.5 hr skill session per week on Monday 9:40-11:10 or Wednesday, and one game per week on Friday. We are planning on offering two skill sessions on Wednesdays: Early Bird: 8:00 – 9:30 AM and the second one at 9:40 – 11:10 AM. For those of you who can’t get enough hockey, we also offer the option of Monday, Wednesday, Tuesday or Thursday skills, and Friday game.

Please note that Friday games are a required element of this program. You must commit to playing regularly in the Friday games to join the C/D program. New this 2007-2008 season we are hoping to have a group of strong C level players who will play together on a NEWHL C-level team, play external C-level teams and play on a NEWHL multi-level team. The C team or teams will be picked by our coach. We do not offer an option of playing on a NEWHL team in the Friday games without doing a NEWHL skill session.

The games are played on Fridays at two times: 9:30 – 10:30 AM and 10:40 – 11:40 AM. The games have a referee but no coach. See schedule page for a complete listing of all practices & game schedules ~ To be announced as soon as we have number of players & teams. Watch the website.

November 2, 5, 7, 9, 14, 16, 19, 26, 28, 30
December 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, 14, 17, 19, 21
January 4, 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, 18, 23, 25, 28, 30
February 1, 4, 6, 8, 11, 13, 15, 25, 27, 29

C/D Level Players: Monday Skills 9:40 – 11:10am + Friday Game
30 hours of instructional ice + 19 games = Total 49 hours of ice
Cost: $675.00

C/D Level Players: Wednesday Skills 8:00-9:30 or 9:40-11:10 + Friday Game
33 hours of instructional ice + 19 games = Total 52 hours of ice
Cost: $700.00. Please indicate on the application form which time slot you are signing up for: 8:00-9:30 AM or 9:40-11:10 AM.

C/D Level Players: Monday, Wednesday + Friday game
60 hours of skills instructional ice + 19 games = Total 79hours of ice Cost: $1,100.00

C/D Level Players: Tuesday, Wednesday + Friday games
53 hrs of skills instructional ice + 19 games = Total of 72 hours of ice. Cost $950.00

C/D Level Players: Wednesday + Thursday + Friday games
61.5 hrs of skills instructional ice + 19 games = Total of 80.5 hours of ice. Cost: $1,100.00

Please indicate on the application form which skills time on Wednesday that you are planning on attending (8:00-9:30 AM or 9:40-11:10 AM), or whether you will attend the C/D Tuesday or Thursday skills.

Full hockey equipment is required. Registration with USA Hockey Required.
